Damage and Inspection Policy
At Eden Paving, we take great care to ensure your order is packed securely and dispatched in perfect condition. However, on rare occasions, items may become damaged during transit. To help us resolve any issues efficiently, please follow the inspection and reporting steps outlined below.
1. Inspecting Your Delivery
When your order arrives, we strongly recommend that you examine the goods carefully before signing for or accepting the delivery.
- Check the outer packaging for any visible signs of damage.
- If possible, open the packaging in the presence of the delivery driver.
- If you are unable to inspect the goods fully at the time of delivery, we advise signing as “unchecked”.
2. Reporting Damage
If any damage is evident, please do the following:
- Mark the delivery note or courier device clearly as "DAMAGED" before signing.
- Take clear photographs of the packaging and any affected items.
- Email the details, including your order number and photographs, to sales@edenpaving.com within 48 hours of delivery.
This information allows us to raise a claim with the courier quickly and arrange a suitable resolution for you.
3. Installed or Used Goods
Please note that once goods have been installed or used, this may be treated as acceptance that they arrived in good condition. We therefore recommend you check all items thoroughly prior to installation.
4. Timeframes for Reporting
All delivery-related issues, including missing or damaged items, must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Reports received after this period may limit our ability to assist.
